Does anybody else feel this way in the morning on waking up? I am on 50 mcg of Levothyroxine in the morning. About an hour later I take 0.25 Xanax and a Vicodin with breakfast. Eventually the jitters go away. Once I get up and take the Levo I try to keep moving for about 45 mins before I eat. Could my dose be too low or too high to cause these symptoms? On the upside I am not sleepy through the day. Before the Levo it was all I could do to stay awake. I was also dx'd with fibro over a year ago but aside from the Xanax, Vicodin, and Lexapro I only take vitamins. Any ideas folks?
If it were me having the problems you mentioned, it would be because the Free T3 and the Free T4 are higher than the mid range mark. I do better at mid ranges, at least.

I'm not sayin that you do have low adrenal function, but it does happen. This test is used by many on another forum.
But it could be just your Ft4 and Ft3 being off.
Other tests you need are B12, Vitamin D, Ferritin
Also some medications called SSRIs can suppress thyroid function
You could even have your Copper and Zinc serum levels checked and see if Copper is higher than Zinc to cause this problem. It did for me.
I never noticed low levels of Cortisol to cause jitteriness with me, however when it went higher than normal, then I had this problem.
I had to play detective with my lab results and look online at the boards, blogs, etc. for additional help to figure out what other things to look out for to help me heal. Oft times my doctors from the past would just look at me blank cuz they didn't know what to do for me.
