Low t3 central hypo?

Male age 30, 177cm, 73kg, non drinker/smoker, eat healthy and exercise. never took any thyroid meds

Could my low t3 be causing these symptoms?

Hard to get to sleep, hard to get out of bed , cold sensitivity, depression, dry palms, dry hair (could be MPB aswell)

I have read that when thyroid is underactive cortisol can rise up to do its job,  but it does a bad job and causes other problems.
Is that how it works and hence my high cortisol?
Should I try medication?

The first thing to do is to ask your family doctor to order a thyroid function test, and T3/T4 levels to see if you have thyroid disorder as you have suspected. Your symptoms are non-specific and could be to other causes. Let's your doctor do the diagnosis, than diagnosing yourself. Don't take any meds until prescribed by your doctor. All the best!

Ask him to run autoimmune thyroid testing as well for hashimotos
I actually had a normal tsh and very high antibodies against my thyroid which led to my diagnosis of hashimotos Look up symptoms of hashimotos. The autoimmune attack can cause a wide range of symptoms mine at the time we’re very sleepy and sleeping 12 hours plus a day. Brain fog ( bad) Achey painful joints and muscles Slow heart rate Depression anddd anxiety and anxiety attacks. The thyroid controls our metabolism and many functions so if your thyroid is off you will not feel well
Advocate for yourself with your drs. They don’t like to look further if tsh is in range but they should and can

I have been monitored for Hashimotos for over 10 years, so I can appreciate the symptoms that you feel. Perhaps check your Vitamin B12 level as well. I have had low B12 level, and after supplementation, I feel much better with more energy, less fatigue, and dissipation of brain fog. Low B12 can exacerbate the symptoms of hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's thyroiditis, so perhaps you can ask your doctor to check for vitamin deficiency.

So interesting you mention low b12. !!! My bloodwork has been coming back with high MCHC last 2 times checked I googled cause and it can be from a type of anemia caused by lowb12. Is there a connection between hashimotos and lowb12?

I believe that hypothyroidism leads to poor extraction of vitamins from the diet, including B12, and especially is your thyroid hormone is insufficient. Some meds prescribed for Hashimoto contribute to the alteration of gut flora, which depletes nutrient absorption including B12. Sometimes the diet that you take may have low B12, and this contributes to B12 deficiency which enhances/exacerbates symptoms of Hashimoto.
