anybody out there taking this "baby" dose either once or more times a day ? Since January 2013 I have been taking this but ramped up a little about 50 days ago. The new level is one pill of 2.5mCg on every odd numbered day and two pills of total 5mCg on even numbered days. Taking the two pills about 10 hours apart.
I am having slightly better sleep, a calmer mood, a lttle more energy. My diagnosis is Hashimoto's with a slight goiter. My Reverse T3 ratio is still not "normal".
By the way docs can make horrifying mistakes as the first script for me in January was written for 25mg of Liothyronine. The pharmacist who was new to me caught it as a "FATAL dose". I almost didn't trust to go back to doctor, but remembered the exam had been noisy sitting in the room when he wrote the script.
Also when people post about Liothyronine or Cytomel they need to put the C for micrograms yet I keep seeing the fatal dose in posts which it 25 millagrams. That would be 1000 times the micrograms.

I was taking 4 thyroid meds- 3xs per day. It was a nightmare.
Wonder if I forgot? Did I need to catch up? Etc., etc.????
I am not aware of anyone needing to dose differently on different days. From what I understand it has a very short-life. The differing days would not cover the absence.
Please talk to your doctor. This is very weird.
Second challenge, my body is extremely sensitive and responsive to small bits of drugs so the ramping on odd / even days is a way to gradually moniter effects. Yes it will be best to have the dose the same every day after awhile. Love and Prayers to you !
