I was wondering if anyone could answer any of this.

I just came back from the Dr. I had an Altra sound done on my Thyroid. I am currently on Levothyroxin 112 MCG.

I have been taking this for around maybe 8 years. They said they saw some Nodules and for me to come back in 6 months and get a re-check. is this normal? He said they were small.

I've been looking at some youtube videos on this topic and it looks confusing.

Would love some of your views on this.

Nodules are very common in thyroid disease....they come and they can go.

Since your doctor said your nodules are small, monitoring as he said is all that's necessary.

All you can do is keep an eye on them. Let your doc worry about them and don't be concerned. If you need to worry, your doc will let you know.

Do repeat ultrasound every 6 months though.
