you might try this:
Cut the pill into quaters. You were on 90 - doc wants you on 150. Take your regular 90 (about half the pill) in the am - then 1/2 of the 2nd 1/2 (or one quarter of the whole pill - about 45 mg) in the afternoon for the first 3 weeks or so...then bump it up. It will require you delaying your next labs to possibly 11 weeks out instead of 8 weeks out....but it might be worth it.
I'm glad you have a helpful doctor and maybe you can lead your treatment. After 4 clueless doctors, I'm grateful for this type of relationship that I have with my current doctor.
Without a doubt, slowly easing into your new dose makes much more sense.
