I started feeling nauseous about a month ago and oddly ordered the liver at a German restaurant. I felt like I was going to skip my period and I did. I felt pregnant, but pregnancy tests were negative. I started looking up my symptoms and some of them lined up with early menopause. I would say I'm being a hypochondriac and that lots of women have irregular periods, but there is a connection between early menopause and hypothyroidism. I have had thyroid related problems before but I am usually able to get my period going during these times by doubling up on a couple of doses of levothyroxin (I've told my doctor about that) and biking out in the sun and taking extra Vitamin D, but that didn't work this time. I thought my periods were getting more regular lately; I had one that came a week early in spring, but after that my periods have been maybe a couple of days early and more normal. A lot of stuff I've read online says that sometimes before menopause you will get early periods and then start skipping them...

I was feeling so awful and my breasts were swollen that I bought Estroven, which is a supplement for menopause, because I couldn't get an appointment with ObGyn until early September. On the second day of taking estroven, my period started and I do feel better. I'm kind of freaked out about this because I am 34 and I would look to have another baby. I don't have hot flashes, but i do get tingling on my skin and my PMS feels like pregnancy lately.
