I haven't had a virus kick my butt like this in a very long time. It's some kind of flu-thingy (total body symptoms). Having a fever of 103+ for 3+ days was exhausting, but the lasting symptoms are not fading too quickly. I'm trudging back to the doctor's office, yet again, to beg for relief.

PS Thanks for asking! I'll be fine...it simply takes me a much longer time to get over such things.

Take good care of yourself.... For most of us with low body temperatures, 103 is really "up there!"

Thanks for the well wishes. Sipping lots of chicken soup, and sleeping more than not ;) It'll get better...it just seems like forever, but oh well - it is a flu thing.

2B - so sorry you had to go thru this - it really is nothing to play around with. The virus has thoroughly kicked my behind...now it's just being a show-off ;) Hope you're all better.

After returning to the vile USA, I was forced by the 4 "doctors" who treated me at a major urban medical hospital, to take the current "
FLU" vaccine. Since I did so, have had 3 flu like episodes.
After an intense dissuration with my primary, he admitted the vaccine is crap. Thank you med profs. I have not had the "flu" for 10 yeas or more until this "vaccine". Eff this vaccine.

I hear ya GageL - everyone in my house took the vaccine this year - and it's less than 23% effective. Oy Vey.

I can't wait until this is over...I'm exhausted.

You are a very strong woman fortunately and I hope this nasty episode will subside and let up sooner than later. I certainly hope it has not affected your lungs. Influenza can be deadly as you know.
My GP told me the vaccine was totally useless and in fact every patient he forced it on late last fall came down with the flu.
Did you get the vile vaccine?

It seems these vaccines cover last years bug and not any "new" strains, so you can get the shot but more than likely wont cover the current strain. So next year, you could be covered by this years strain. I got the shot and within 4 hours, the room was spinning ,by throat got very sore and almost instant fever. I'll NEVER get another flu shot, EVER.
