I was wondering if anyone has ever used the home tsh testing and how accurate they are.

I have never used it because the Ft4 and Ft3 shows the actual circulating thyroid hormones in the bloodstream.

The TSH is good for the very first test. Thats just my opinion anyway.

Usuing a basal thermometer. Shake it before bed in the morning put it in your armpit for 10 minutes, sitting still. If below 98.5 your thyroid is low, doesn't give you the exact numbers.

Someone I know uses this method, haven't heard of the home test. Make sense to have them though. This disease is so complicated I wish you could take one dose and forget about it for the rest of your life. That is what other people think when you tell them you have it.

I don't know how it works, but I found it online and was wondering how accurate it was. I don't want to have wrong readings and then start to worry. Or get a wrong reading and think that I am alright.
