I don't know what the eff is wrong with me. :( But maybe it isn't thyroid. Here are the tests and results ordered by the integrative doctor.

Ah ha. Mystery solved. Short term memory still shot.

I feel pretty crappy. The supplements are cutting headaches and joint and pelvic pain but not a lot. I seem like I have good days and bad days. The past few days my shins hurt???? Whatever. The lack of diagnosis is compounding the existing depression. I'm very frustrated that this isn't so cut and dry. I have half a thyroid for heavens sake. And I just had two babies. How can these symptoms not be thyroid related? Bleh.

I feel like giving up.

Did they test your Free T3 or Free T4 at all? I'm not seeing those in your results. Those are the ones you need to look at for your thyroid

Oh - maybe this is Free T3:
Triiodothyronine,Free,Serum 3.3 pg/mL 2.0 - 4.4

If it is, then your Free T3 is at 54%

And then I don't know if this is Free T4 or Total:
Thyroxine (T4) 7.9 4.5-12.0 ug/dL

But that one is at 45%

Both of those are a little too low for most people but it all depends on how you're doing. And I'm not sure if those are the correct tests - maybe someone else on here knows?

I know we discussed it but I can't remember, what is your cortisol levels? I was dxd with both Addison's and hypothyroid at the same visit.

There is nothing I'm seeing that account for my super cruddy feeling. I'm really even unable to focus on work. Short term disability and all. So I do see some things that could be better. But no explanation. My cortisol levels were high if anything. Stun test didn't double but went about 20. Saliva test was ok in the AM and high in the subsequent draws. So Addisons was ruled out. PCOS seemed possible but.... Nope. Oddly I'm prediabetic which is odd since I'm 107 lbs and 5'8.

I just don't get it.

I am nooooooo expert - far from it! But fibromyalgia might be a consideration. I have finally beaten mine back: lost some weight, acupuncture every 2 weeks, massage every week, restorative or yin yoga once or twice a week, got my very own ultrasound and TEMS units, AND (the most low tech thing of all) Epsom salt bath every single day.....
