Oh my can we ever relate to that! Yes that sounds exactly like "brain fog". For me it changes depending on where my levels are bouncing - sometimes it's like I have ADD and can't hold onto a thought for more than a few seconds. Sometimes my husband will be talking to me, and I'm trying to listen, but it's like his words are bouncing off my head and I don't understand what he's saying. And don't get me started on how many times I've spaced out in the grocery store and forgot why I was there. One time I forgot where I had parked the car at the store, and I couldn't remember what my car looked like, so I had to wander around the parking lot hoping I would recognize it when I saw it. Another time I started of pot of water boiling and put some eggs in to make hard boiled eggs, turned around and immediately forgot I had done that. Left the house for two hours. I was lucky the house didn't burn down. I have countless stories, all of which make me feel like an idiot. But yes, totally a hypo thing and you're not alone! And with medication that should get better.

Thanks Jessmm. It's really helpful to hear that the hypo explains the mistakes and forgetfulness. As I mentioned, I just started on Synthroid. It has been less than a week, and I feel a little better already. Best wish to you for good health.
