In the beginning, I was happy with my nurse practitioner because she seemed willing to believe my symptoms and it seemed like she wasn't just looking at my blood tests and calling me "normal".
Recently, I'm finding that my levothyroxine is probably not enough anymore. I'm making errors at work that seem to be a result of my decreased focus and concentration. I went in for labs and my TSH is under 1.0 so my nurse practitioner does not want to increase my levothyroxine dose at all. I then insisted on T3 and T4 labs and recently got those. My T4 is high which makes sense because of the levothyroxine, but my T3 is right at the bottom of "normal". I'm sorry, I don't have my paperwork with me right now to give exact readings.
I believe I need more than just the synthetic T4, but now my nurse practitioner is balking at doing anything further at this time.
Can anyone recommend a good endochrinologist in North Dakota or South Dakota or Minnesota or eastern Montana? Or even just a good doctor? My job may be on the line and I'm getting desperate here. Thank you.
