Hi,
I just wanted to know if it is ok to take 75 mg of armour all at one time? Presently I take 60mg upon waking and then another 15mg four hours later. I would like to take it all at the same time just for convenience. Also I am taking 62 mg of levoxyl at night and I would like to be able to take this in the morning with the other pills eventually. Is this all too much at one time but definitely I want to combine the armour. Does anyone have any experience or advice on this matter?

No I just have been doing that since I had been on the higher doses of armour. I was trying to minimize any symptoms but now I feel my body is pretty well adjusted so I just wanted to get other people's opinions.

It really doesn't matter if you take levothyroxine/levoxyl all at one time or if you split it up - it simply important to take it at the same time every day once you find a time that is best for you.

As for armour - you can try taking it all at one time for convenience and see if you get the lunch/mid-afternoon dip or not. If you do, start splitting it again, if not...continue taking it all at one time.

PS The reason for taking levothyroxine at "night" is to absorb more of it (to get the most out of it) studies show that if taken at night..you may absorb more of it. But, you can try it all at once with your armour and see what happens, right?
