Although my doctor insists my current level of thyroid meds is correct (112 mcg. Synthroid), I still have symptoms, which include weight struggles, eyebrow thinning, head hair falling out, and worst of all SEVERE PAIN in arms and shoulders. Can barely lift them to shampoo and it's difficult to dress myself.
Anyone can tell me WHY thyroid issues should influence pain localized to the upper arm and shoulder area? Is it caused by too little (hypo) or too much (hyper)? What can be done about it if tests come back OK? My quality of life is poor, being overweight, and in pain.

@mmztcass .. my dr has never checked my t3 t4 , just my tsh ....i guess it is my type of insurance , it's alway about the money , and I feel she does'nt know what she is doing ....
