Hi,

I've been on Armour Thyroid 30 mg for 1 week now. I have a
had a headache every day since.

Is this normal and has this happened to anyone else?

So sorry. That is a very small dose your on, but do know it has to be raised slowly. You are not getting much T4 and T3 right now, and it will cause headaches. When my Ft3 was very low, I suffered with migraines.

I had severe headaches when titrating up on Armour. It actually lasted three weeks. Awful awful awful :( The next titration I didn't get any though, I was worried it would happen again.

It will pass though dawnrose, just hang in there.

No headaches here, but had piggy pink skin (lol) in the first week and lot s of new hair follicles.
I have always had aching hands when titrating. I am guessing that all of us have different titration symptoms.
Hang in there and continue to take your dose. Your body needs it and because you just started this, it is a BIG change...Your body doesn't need to try to compensate for not having thyroid medication and you can think of it as turning off all of the little switches that helped your body compensate before.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I haven't had a headache in 2 days so I'm hopeful that they are gone or at least until I get an increase in my meds.
