Is it possible you caught a bug and felt sick to your stomach? You're a teacher, right? If so...that could have been the culprit. How long did you feel sick?
Word of caution, you should never stop taking thyroid drugs without your doctor's consent - that can lead you into a horrible spiral that can take days or weeks to recover from.
Now, many people say armour is awesome. But, it's usually after they've balanced their Free T3/Free T4 levels.
Armour has a higher ratio of T3 to T4 than most humans need, but that can be worked around. However, during the initial "switch" from synthetics to armour, it will make you feel different...and sometimes not in a good way. Why? Because your body is used to something else...and it takes a while to get used to something totally different AND you have to balance your Free T3/Free T4 levels. Without adequate Free T4/Free T3 you'll never feel better.

I have gained so much weight yet they are telling me my TSH is low and I am going Hyper? I also saw your percentage conversion. Thank you! My Free T3 is low and I have always had a conversion problem. I have seen numerous doctors and they all feel I am better on Synthoid and Cytomel. This last doctor told me to stop the 5 Cytomel and my hair is falling out and once again I am gaining. I just wish I could find a doctor to help me and adjust my medication correctly.
Thank you again! You guys are the best! :)
Maybe I should have given the Armour more time. How long do you think it would take for your body to adjust?
Thanks!
