Hi Everyone,
I am presently taking Armour thyroid 120 and Levoxyl 50. My doc would like me to try and add in 1.25 of Cytomel and then tytrate up from there. Does anyone have any experience with this drug and or the combo. I still am having symptoms and my reverse t3 is prett high consistently. He believes the addition of this drug may counter the reverse. Results are the following
FT4 Range 0.82-1.77
FT4-1.75
FT3Range 2.0-4.4
FT3-4.3
Reverse T3 Range 9.2-24.1
RT3-26.5
TSHof no concern to him.
Stmptoms that are lingering palps mostly, low temp, insomnia on and off, mood some depression and anxiety,band stomach totally off.

I think this article might help you. I think the solution is to remove T4 and add T3 only.
