Well..results are in.my free T4 is .8..up from .4 and tsh is 35...up from 18!! I just know she isn't going to lower my dose and i am MISERABLE!!!! :((

I'm sorry. Do you feel like posting the lab ranges for the FreeT4?

The freeT4 Range is 0.7 to 2.0 annd the tsh is 0.30 tp 5.00

If you add the 0.7 plus 2.0 it equals 270 and divide by two equals 1.35.

So the middle of the range is 1.35 (if my math is right).

So your Ft4 is .8 or is it 0.8?

Oh my you are one point above the bottom of the range. I don't know how you are functioning. It does take 6 to 8 weeks to build up in your system.

My Ft4 is in the upper part of the range but for a long time I had been on too low a dosage and could not lose weight no matter what I did. Also was a bit depressed.

I don't think you are hyper at all. Have you had iron, b12, vitamin d3 checked? If these are low it can cause thyroid resistance.
