Hi everyone! A month or so ago I told you that I went to the endo to discuss my thyroid labs, and he didn't feel that they were all that bad and said something else had to be going on with me. He noticed I had tachycardia and low blood pressure when standing - suddenly my heart became the only thing the doctors cared about. I had to meet a cardiologist and have an echo and wear a holter monitor. My heart is fine, and the cardiologist said I have some form of POTS syndrome but doesn't know what's causing it.

The endo tested my morning cortisol and it came back normal, and he also tested me for pernicious anemia and for some kind of rare adrenal tumor - both negative. The adrenal tumor was what both the endo and cardiologist suspected because of my symptoms, which involve what feels like adrenaline surges. Anxiety is my biggest complaint, followed by insomnia, exhaustion, and feeling cold all the time. And a whole host of others :)

I guess I'm wondering how much more I should look into my adrenal glands before badgering my doctor into giving me thryoid meds. I do have the issue with my blood pressure falling, salt cravings, occasional thirst that borders on desperation, and my sleep cycles are all messed up. In the mornings I go from dead sleep to wide-awake panic as some fight-or-flight switch is thrown. Most annoying internal alarm clock ever. But after all of the research I've done online I'm starting to get confused, because so many different conditions have similar symptoms and things overlap. I'm unsure of what's coming from my thyroid, what might be due to the POTS, what could be something else. All of the doctors keep saying "there's something else" but they can't find anything that's off except for the positive TPO antibodies and lowish thyroid levels. Everything else has been coming back textbook perfect.

Just wondered what you all thought. You guys have such good insight and I really appreciate any feedback!
