I was on 50mcg levothyroxine for about 30 days and it was starting to feel better. However, after my blood tests which were getting better my doctor put me up to 75 mcg and i have not felt that great. I have felt off not dizzy like room spins i am able to do things but just don't feel normal. Does it take time for this transition to take place. Would appreciate your thoughts
You get labs, your doctor increases meds based on labs...and you will have more symptoms for a while - especially during the first few weeks. It will get better, but then it's time to start all over again - get new labs, get a new increase...rinse, repeat.
This will continue (or should) until you reach a good medication level for YOU.
