does anyone know about nodules on your thyroid?

I had them before I started on thyroid med. Biggest was an inch in diameter. Had a biopsy done and it turned out to be harmless. My TCM doc said nodules are accumulations of phlegm/mucus (hypothyroid people have lower metabolism so the body is poorer at clearing phlegm/mucus). I took TCM med for clearing phlegm and the nodules went away.

Cut down on food and drinks that promote phlegm/mucus: cold drinks, spicy food, dairy products (except yoghurt), sweet stuff, etc. Also eat less chicken and chicken egg.

I have 2 small ones now . I had a large one removed ( they took half of my thyroid ) It did have a small spot of cancer , now I have to be checked annually .I am on Armour now ... :)
