My thyroid has slowly been headed south (again) after being stable for a pretty good stretch..in December I began having severe leg pain, then lower back pain. I had an MRI in Feb that showed two bulging discs in my lower back.i have been in pain with this everyday since December. About a week ago, this awful pain spread to pretty much my whole body. I mean EVERYTHING hurts. It hurts to sit, stand. I cannot walk into the library without feeling like I am going to drop over from the pain. I am gaining weight at an alarming rate. I am so tired that I fall asleep at my computer. And I have also been freezing cold, which is soo not me. I'm usually the one with the window open in the winter.
The only time I am ok is when I am sprawled out and I have my legs elevated on pillows. And have pain med in my system. I only take pain meds at home becuz I don't want to drive when I take them.
I basically feel like I can't function anymore. The pain is wearing on me.

One thing at a time...the back is not a quick fix, but you can only tackle one thing at a time anyway. I hope that they have sent you out for physical therapy for your back. (I found a moist heating pack very helpful,although some people like ice)
Being cold is hypo. When was the last time you did labs? Did you get an increase or change your dosage?
