I am having a lot of pain in my lower back and legs. And the fatigue...I am feeling like I need a nursing home. I am very overweight, too, and I am not making up excuses, but it is reallllly hard to function, let alone exercise when I feel this awful. :(

A lot of us feel that exact same way. I think I'd feel better if I could exercise, but I never have the energy to.

the very cold weather where i live has been making me short of breath when i am in it,,i notice the cold makes everything painful

At one time, I could not get out of bed. Literally. Exercise was something that was like, "Are you joking? You have to be...I can't move"

Then, with thyroid meds and proper treatment, I started to feel "awake" again...gradually, I started to feel like my soul had returned to "the seat of my soul". I literally felt like my soul was ripped out - like I was no longer me...but some weird dysfunctional version of myself.

All because I wasn't being treated properly for hypothyroidism.

It can get better....it will get better...with the proper treatment.

Yes, I agree with MB. Proper thyroid replacement makes all the difference in the world! Also not just plain Synthroid but either added T-3 or Armour.
