Let me start at the beginning. For awhile i was severely hypothyroid and my endo kept raising my levo. Up to .224 mcg about 8 weeks ago i started feeling like i was headed into hyperland. At that point my tsh was about 5. She said she didn't want to lower my dose. On 8/10/13 i had it rechecked and it was 2.3 the reason i had it rechecked was due to the following symptoms
Sweating
insomnia
anxiety
Fevers every day
Body aches
Agitation
feeling like i had to move constantly
Irritability
frequent diarrhea stomach pain and nausea
weight loss (the only GOOD THING!)
So i called last week and spoke with the nurse and told him what i was experiencing. She still did NOT want to lower my dose.
Today i spiked a fever of 103, severe body aches....went to urgent care. They did bloodwork and they said the only thing off was my white blood cell count. They didn't TELL ME they ran my tsh and i just happened to see the box checked on the discharge sheet. I asked what it was and it was 0.3!!! They got my fever down to 100.4 and right now it is normal. I am glad i saw that or else i would've gone on feeling worse and worse. And this endo wouldn't have checked my tsh again this soon. She also doesn't believe in checking free t3 or t4 either. I am going to have to call there again in the morning and tell her what is going on.
I am soooo freaking frustrated and feel like complete crap ::(

Now for the last month I've experienced many of the symptoms you mention in your post, plus my hair is falling out and very thin. Used to have thick hair but I think those days are gone.
I need to be tested and dosage lowered. Problem is I have moved and when I called my PCP he would not order a blood test until I saw him and would not lower the dosage of my Levo.
I'm now searching for a local doctor by asking around. I really liked my prior PCP as he mostly listened and treated symptoms. Now I feel like crap and have to start the whole process over!
I hope you begin to feel better soon.
My hair fell out a lot on the synthetic hormone, could not take it. Being in and out of the ER with heart palps also. Am glad that it all grew back in thick after getting things regulated on Armour.
