you mentioned 'heat issues'. I wondered what you meant exactly. I keep reading that hypos have an issue with cold, but for the last couple of years I've been suffering from what I thought were hot flashes. Could they be thyroid related?

I think maybe the way a person could tell (if they wanted to wait that long) is that a bi-polar gets worse as they get older.
I was diagnosed bi-polar, but for some reason I got better as I aged. I can't prove it, but since my thyroid is about gone I wouldn't be surprised to find out this is the case with me.
I think that's all I'll comment on.
I'm not saying it's the same for everyone, but it does happen.
