What did the ER doc say?
You need thyroid treatment and your body is telling you this along with your labs. A TSH of 46 should have been treated. The fact that it went up to 56 is telling you that your treatment is inadequate....and you most probably need an increase in meds.
I would request an increase in meds along with the following tests:
TSH
Free T3
Free T4
But my God! 46 and 56? Mine was just 4 something and I could hardly move. You must be made of strong stuff!
