For many doctors, "good" means in-range......and does not necessarily correspond to how we feel.
Our levels need to be optimized for our individual situation. Optimal levels = no thyroid symptoms.
Feeling normal again is entirely possible no matter what our age.
I am 56 and feel awesome when my levels are optimal.
So sorry you are feeling this way. I hope your doctor is responsive.
I am on 105mg of Armour - odd, I know... A 90mg (1 1/2 grams + .25 grams/15mg). I am thinking if she boosted me to 110 or 115 mg I would be a great deal better....
I may call later... she can only say "no" - right? I will use Winter as my excuse.
