Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) Support Group
The term hypoglycemia literally means "low blood sugar." Hypoglycemia can produce a variety of symptoms and effects but the principal problems arise from an inadequate supply of glucose as fuel to the brain, resulting in impairment of function. Derangements of function can range from vaguely "feeling bad" to coma and in the worst case, can be fatal.
What types of things are you eating? I don't spike high, unless I eat sugar. I can barely make it out of the normal range.
I am just sharing what works for me so take it with a grain of salt.
I cannot have milk, no sugar, white four, potatoes, white rice like others.
My miracle food is old fashioned oats (with clear fiber powder found in the pharmacy section), cooked five min in water in the microwave, nuts, blueberries (a few as I can handle it), add flax after cooking.
It truly is the only things that really helps me sustain a descent number.

I like to know little bit detail about your problem and how you are tackling the situation. My problem seems to be similar.
Probably due to skipping the meal or excess diamicron, started to give me hypo symptoms. Urinary tract infection and palpitation started. Unnecessarily I was checked by cardiologist. Shaky, tremor , fear, nervousness symptoms, I was feeling. I did not find low sugar by measurement. Doctor stopped diamicron after three months. Improved a little but not cured. Then sugar went high. I cannot take any medication to lower sugar, After 4 hours of eating sugar went below 10 mmol/l, I felt serious hypo symtoms. I was not eating Carbs for fear of more high sugar. One day I ate ome rice, sugar suddenly dropped 8, blood pressure increased suddenly. I started to take Blood pressure medication. But before blood pressure was low. THe I take protein and vegetable only for a month. Sugar became stable considerbly. Now I can go below 10 mmol/l wthout serious hypo feeling. But I do not take any medication. I have adrenal fatigue also. Now sugar remains 8 to 11. How I will lower it, I do not know. I cannot tolerate any sugar lowering medication except metformin. It gives serious reactions.
Now I am improved a lot, but after eating, sugar increases, I feel symptoms still.

You're situation does sound similar to mine. I wish I could give you some advice on what to do, but I haven't figured out how to help myself yet either. Throughout the day my levels are constantly up and down. Some days are better than other's but I can never seem to keep it straight. I try to avoid carbs and sugar of course so it doesn't get high and then crash, but that doesn't always keep my levels from getting off. Sorry I can't help more,

Is there any suggestion, please ?

Google how to improve the adrenals. That is what I did when I learned of the hypo.

I have MS too, so my fatigue is out of this world. But taking supplements that help hypo have helped a lot.
Those are some of what I take for hypo at the top, but there are more. Just google and research supplements that help hypoglycemia and try some of that. Brewer's yeast is the best.
By internet research I find to take high doses of Vitamin C, B complex, Niacine, B5 and magnesium. I did not find any doctor to suggest me. I am taking only Vitamin plus minerals for people over 50.
Conventional doctors does not prescribe any medicine.
But sugar is not dropping, it is going high, seems go high little quicker. I can feel in my eyes.
Stress creates my eye blurriness. How can I reduce blood sugar?
I do not know how low I can tolerate, It is not going below 10 mmol.

I used to eat every three hours, I feel trouble, If I walk I feel trouble now. Is it due to fatigue? or some other type of adrenal problem? Or is it due to less calorie I am taking? How is your sugar position? Does it not go high? How do you lower it?
Before a weak, I could walk about two hours. But now I cannot walk that much. Before it was hypo. But now different feeling.
Last March Cortisol level was checked, It was OK.
Can you please give me any clue

Brewer's Yeast is active dry yeast used for baking? Or neutrional yeast bought from health food store?
