The term hypoglycemia literally means "low blood sugar." Hypoglycemia can produce a variety of symptoms and effects but the principal problems arise from an inadequate supply of glucose as fuel to the brain, resulting in impairment of function. Derangements of function can range from vaguely "feeling bad" to coma and in the worst case, can be fatal.

Does anyone out there know how to lower blood sugar? I just tested it, and it was 400!!!!!! My God, Im freaking out over here. Any advice would be appreciated.

ive been 350 before bc i ate a piece of cheescake. it was pretty scary. im not diabetic so idk why it would go that high. i think the only thing you can do is drink water to flush it out of your system

It depends on when you ate if you checked your sugar an hour after you ate then it could be 400. The best time to check your sugar is when you first wake up in the morning it should be below a 100 now with hypoclycemia it might be real low so don't be suprised.

my boyfriend is diabetic and he was told to check his blood befor he eats or two hours after he eats also first thing in the morning otherwise its not an accurate result...guess our bloodsugar bounces around more than we think even if we're normal or hypoglycemic

Some natural things that might help lower your blood sugar levels -- olive leaf capsules or tablets, lemon juice with NO sugar, herbs of mostly any kind, garlic.
