Hypochondria Support Group
Hypochondria refers to excessive worry about having a serious illness. Hypochondria is often characterized by fears that minor bodily symptoms may indicate a serious illness, constant self-examination and self-diagnosis, and a preoccupation with one's body. Many individuals with hypochondriasis express doubt and disbelief in the doctors' diagnosis.

I have not used any medication for my hypo. I want to be strong enough to get through it on my own and medicine just isn't my thing (probably because I am a hypo). Talk therapy helps so much. This can be a therapist, family member, or friend. Just to be able to say what you are thinking out loud and having someone understand and help you rationalize through it helps. My mom and grandfather have been hypos since they were 20 so they understand and help me as much as possible.
Best advice is to laugh, be social, stay busy, workout, eat good. Just do everything in your power to be the best you that you can be! Good luck! Prayers for you :)
