Hypochondria refers to excessive worry about having a serious illness. Hypochondria is often characterized by fears that minor bodily symptoms may indicate a serious illness, constant self-examination and self-diagnosis, and a preoccupation with one's body. Many individuals with hypochondriasis express doubt and disbelief in the doctors' diagnosis.
I hate all those commercials on tv for cancer treatments and illnesses. All it does it make me a nervous wreck!! Why are there so many of them? Worse part is I'm awear I'm driving myself crazy. I'm missing out on life and my kids because of constant fear of dying or being too sick to function. I'm never at the right temp and constantly checking my body for pain. I just wish I could go back to life before this THING took over. I'm literally shocked now by people who walk around without a care or worry. How do they do that? Ho can they not be terrified they are dying... how do I get there??
