Hypochondria is often characterized by fears that minor bodily symptoms may indicate a serious illness, constant self-examination and self-diagnosis, and a preoccupation with one's body. Many individuals with hypochondriasis express doubt and disbelief in the doctors' diagnosis.
I can’t tell you how many times at night I find myself looking down my throat with a flash light to make sure it isn’t closing because it feels like it is. Often times I find it’s worse if my acid reflux is acting up or if my allergies are acting up and my nose is stuffy or neck glands
