Hypochondria Support Group
Hypochondria refers to excessive worry about having a serious illness. Hypochondria is often characterized by fears that minor bodily symptoms may indicate a serious illness, constant self-examination and self-diagnosis, and a preoccupation with one's body. Many individuals with hypochondriasis express doubt and disbelief in the doctors' diagnosis.

Mine is lung cancer today.
I am exactly where you are at, and if you are seeing a military PCM and not getting referred to a Psychologist first and then maybe a psychiatirist (SP) then it is easily to be misdiagnosed. I do the same thing as you and it is exhausting. I can get 8 hours of sleep and still wake up exhausted because my brain just wont shut off. You are doing the first thing and that is tlaking about it. The next best thing ,which is so hard to do, is stay off WebMD or try and look at any self diagnosis sites. They just dont work for us. Other than that I have no other sound advice to give you yet...=~) Hang in there!
