He bases everything on the TSH levels which right now are low. I discussed the issue with him and he was surprised I knew so much. Well - he kept telling me I need to have the uptake done and eventually the RAI. He said that the hyper symptoms will get worse.
I told him I didn't want this and it wasn't an option.
I agreed to an Ultrasound which will happen 11/2.
He told me that he doesn't want to keep anyone on Methimazole more than 8 months but increased dose from 5 mg to 10mg every other day and 15mg on the other days.
I can't tell if he's listening to me or just reading lab results.
I'm very frustrated. I asked if I had Grave's Disease and he really didn't have an answer. It's almost like he's got all the answers and I don't have a choice in this matter.

My Endo has a few patients on long termed ATD 15+ years. I am going into 7+ years of low dosed 3.75 mg of MMI. He doses the ATD according to the Free T4.

My blood pressure was sky-high ( I get anxious about blood pressure anyway). He never mentioned that at all.
guess I'll see what the ultrasound looks like after Tuesday.
