Thank you for posting a new thread. Disregard my last post on the other thread. I am still getting use to this site since it moved. So a lot of new things to be aware of.
We need to know the lab reference ranges for the FT4 and T3. The T3 is not a Free serum test, right?
The TSI is positive which is likely to be Graves' Disease even though you are post partum.
RAI is not safe for being around children and if one is nursing as it is radiation. Do a google search, it would be required to stay away from children for a number of days. Try researching at:

The Propranol is good for the T3 only. It does not help with the FT4. Since the FT4 is high, an ATD (antithyroid drug) such as Tapazole or Methimazole or better since you are nursing to take PTU. I do not know where you are from but the info given is for the USA location.
If you can, have the Free T3 ordered rather than just T3 as it is not affected by diet, hormones, etc.

The TSI RANGE is 140 and I am 150 just slightly elevated. I have had post partum thyroiditis with each pregnancy

I hope you understand that with any thyroid issues, meds are usually involved no matter what treatment is used. So if you are having issues that you don't which to take any, maybe finding a holistic doctor can be of help to you?
NDs usually use herbs such as Lemon Balm, Bugleweed, and Motherwort to treat hypER symptoms. Labs would need to be done regularly. I went that route originally. However my ND had me taking Potassium Iodide along with the L Tyrosine and Bugleweed. The first two not a good idea as these can make one more hypER. After researching and being in touch with Elaine Moore, a thyroid expert, I felt that Bugleweed, Lemon Balm and Mother Wort may be a better choice.
As you are nursing, you would need to consider that taking herbs and/or meds can affect the baby in any way.

I have never been on PTU so I can't comment on it. However a lot of different types of medicine usually do have side effects.
Like you I worried about side effects after the herbs taken was no longer working for me and I went to the hospital with a suspected thyroid storm. My condition was then out-of-control. It was not a pleasant experience.
