Hyperhidrosis Support Group
Primary hyperhidrosis is the condition characterized by abnormally increased perspiration, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. Some patients afflicted with the condition experience a distinct reduction in the quality of life. Sufferers feel at a loss of control because perspiration takes place independent of temperature and emotional state.
it's treatment for underarm sweat using microwave technology which suppose to destroy the sweat glands in your underarm, and sweat glands don't grow back, so it will have permanent result
I have been reading a lot from the internet, the success rate is very high and with nearly no side effect and permanent result.
Basically you first come for a consultation, and the doctor will advice you what the cost will be and the procedures, etc. And then sign you up for treatment. There are level 1-5 i think. 5 Being the strongest one depending on the severity of your sweating.
There will be injections , so it doesn't hurt. And then they will put miradry machine on your underarms which use microwave to destroy the sweat glands.
And you will have some swelling in underarms which will recover in few days.
Here is a link of real stories about people who have tried

you might be able to find a doctor in your area who does it.
I went to my miradry consultation this morning. And has been scheduled for treatment early next month.
I just had my first MiraDry treatment, if you have questions or anything still. Let me know!
That was quick. So does it work for you? My treatment will be done on Thursday. I have read many post of people who did the procedure. Supposed to feel pain and swelling for few days and the back to normal and will need second treatment to be 100 percent sweat free.
My doctor told me there will be a meeting held in California to discuss about a Miradry update. I think they are advancing the technology . Hopefully to treat hands and feet too
Just updating my Miradry experience.
So i had the procedure done last Thursday. Doctor was away and procedure was done by 2 nurses. My armpits were shaved by the nurse and then they put template in each armpit which contains dots and lines which the miradry machine will be aimed at.
Then they started anesthetics injections which was quite painful, and both armpits were injected at the same time which made it twice more painful. I had about 50 injections per armpit.
I chose level 3 (can be up to 5) treatment. Then they started to use the Miradry machine, it sucks the skin and then use microwave to burn the sweat glands, machine is small, and was applied to different areas of the armpits according to the template drawn earlier. And then i was given frozen water bottles to ice the armpits
I was told i would start to feel pain and swelling after the anesthetics are gone. I was given sleeping pills, and ibuprofen to drink at home. But i didn't feel much pain, only swelling.
It's been 6 days now , and the swelling is reduced. So far no sweat
I asked the doctor, he said current technology is only for underarm
I did some exercise and didn't sweat from the underarms, only slightly moist
