Primary hyperhidrosis is the condition characterized by abnormally increased perspiration, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. Some patients afflicted with the condition experience a distinct reduction in the quality of life. Sufferers feel at a loss of control because perspiration takes place independent of temperature and emotional state.
haha just a general post for everyone in the hh support groups, DONT LET YOUR LIFE PASS U BY. you have hh not a terminal disease, ive suffered from hh as long as i can remember and till high school i was really living like a recluse i was so scared of being emberrassed by my hh i wouldnt even go do stuff, at some point i just decided i would rather die than not live, now i make a point to do anything i want, there are soo may awsome people out there in the world who sooooo dont give a crap if u have hyperdrosis or what, infact ive found that the whole world is pretty self consious, i did have a couple times that were extra emberrasing but i have never regretted it for a second! its like talking to a girl, its hard and u might totally get shot down but being able to laught at yourself and realize nobody gets to be perfect it SUCH a healthy part of life, learn to do the same with your hh, laugh at yourself, life is everything but some serious depressing prison, i would love o hear any stories inspired by this post - go do something that u always put off doiung because of your hh and just enjoy yourself

Acceptance sets us free from this self-imposed 'bondage'. Come to think of this: WE ACTUALLY HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO TEACH THE WORLD ABOUT ACCEPTANCE.
