Primary hyperhidrosis is the condition characterized by abnormally increased perspiration, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. Some patients afflicted with the condition experience a distinct reduction in the quality of life. Hey guys I've had hyper hydrosis for about 3 years now ever sense I turned 19 pretty much.. It's complicated things at my job forcing me to quit, makes it awkward and impossible to hang around friends and makes a social life incredibily difficult. I've tried botox, Mira dry, probathine, other medications and nothing has worked. Please if you guys know or have any suggestions for me please reach out. This is the most difficult thing I've ever gone through and could use the support and advice.
My daughter has had it since she was about...8-9? Her father has it, and I think that's when I first noticed additional sweating.
She's been using clinical strength antiperspirant since then, and it has it under control.
You've got my sympathies for how difficult it is. My ex had a much more difficult time with it. I met him when we were in our early 20's. For a couple years he tried to hide it from me. My only advice is to try actually telling people.
People will quickly fall into too groups: jerks who will never understand (who you are better off without being in your life), and a whole lot of other people who will understand.
