Hi.
I had a lot of dating experiences with dry people. And i am now married.

Off course my condition got in the way, and the approach and the dating process had to be adjusted to my condition. But the condition didn't actually make girls reject the date, some of them didn't know, and some knew but didn't mind about it.

If I liked someone i would at least try and not worry about getting rejected. I am more worried about being sorry later.

So dating were fun. I couldn't use my hands as freely as other people, but still enjoyed the company, the conversations, etc. My feet also sweat, but easily hidden inside shoes, and underarms , so had to wear black or white mostly.

I also workout a lot and in good shape, maybe that helped

My advice is just mention something about HH as early on as possible I usually say something like I have a weird medical condition that makes it hard for me to control my temperature and I mention sweating as a side effect... I've found that most girls will be really sweet about it and it actually will open them up a lot of the time, it makes them sympathetic and I guess it's kind of disarming or something I've had almost no girls be that worried about it as long as I act confident about it... Just own it, we are all unique creatures, a lot of the time when I tell a girl about it they'll open up to me about something they're self conscious about and it ends up leading to a deeper connection, I've actually come to find it very comforting to be able to share with girls, it's such a relief to be able to share stuff like that and I think if a girl is gonna be weird about it you'll get a good read early on that way anyways, so it's win win... I've had more problems with sex if anything, that's usually where girls are gonna be weird if anything, but I still haven't had any girls that it was a deal breaker... So my advice... Don't let HH stop u from dating, sometimes we have to do different things to be comfortable but if u really try you'll find a way.. Good luck in your dating adventures:)

I found it difficult dating when I was younger but now have a boyfriend of 3 years, i didn't tell him about the condition for the first year as I was worried I'd put him off I just used to say my hands got sweaty and would let go when he tried to hold my hands but after a year I told him and he wasn't bothered by it in the slightest and respected that I just didn't always want to hold his hands due to the sweating and said it didn't matter either way. So there are some nice people out there!

i agree with auri. If you tell girls about it, they usually open up and tell us their own condition. Everyone has problem.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm sure one day I should muster up enough confidence to approach someone. Oh how lovely it would be if she has hyperhidrosis as well lol. Has anyone here met anyone with HH also? I never have, thus, the search continues.

I don't have HH but please don't let it stop you from dating. I guess I don't see it as a serious issue. I think there are plenty of ways to work with this condition so that you are not in an uncomfortable situation. If a girl or a guy has a problem with your condition then chances he/she is very immature.
