Hello, new to the group.. just wanted to say hello and i have had a shunt for 5 years now. im 47 and had 2 surgeries from one malfunction of the shunt.. i have extreme anxiety.. always thinking something is wrong.. constantly calling my neuro surgen.. it seems like he doesnt care and doesnt wanna see me... i get frustrated on why i dont feel good.. my head feels heavy.. ears ringing.. vision off.. ugh... fatiged.. im just walking around my house... i dont know what to do... any help?? thank you
My name is Megan. I was also diagnosed with hydrocephalus as an adult. I was told that I had it 8 years ago. I am 29. I have only had one initial surgery to place my shunt. Knock on wood. Anxiety is an awful thing. I live with panic disorder now. I am so glad that you mentioned your anxiety. It's nice to know that someone else has the same fears.
