Hi I’m 58 yrs old and had surgery for a VP shunt 9 weeks ago. Ever since the surgery I’ve been very dizzy. The surgeon set it at 1.5 and 6 weeks later he adjusted it to 2.0. I was still dizzy and 6 days ago he adjusted it to 2.5. It’s now 9 weeks since surgery and I’m still unable to drive or return to work due to this persistent dizziness. Can someone tell me if this is a common problem? I know dizziness is typically a sign of a malfunction but in my case it’s not.

Hiya I am a 40 year female newly diagnosed with Hydrocephalus and enlarged ventricles, I am under the care of Neuro and at present due to headaches they would like to do a procedure ( sorry don't know the actual name) but it's to place a probe into my head to take levels and readings, Had anyone on here had this done please ? x
