Hi, I'm 28 and have genital warts, I've never seen a doctor for a number of reasons but have been trying to treat it myself using the tca peel. It hasn't worked, I'm embarrassed about telling a doctor and it's getting really bad, I was only able to get health insurance a month ago and my first visit to the pcp was not a comfortable one so I never told him. I'd like to at least get rid of the itching and warts but I'm too scared to talk to anyone....the last time I'd been to any kind of doctor I was 16, unfortunately never got the guidance or encouragment to see one on a regular basis.
I know that it's hard for some people to see doctors but you have to if you want to get treated. I've been through the process myself and although it may be painful for just a few seconds, it is worth it. After you get treated you will feel so much better.
