You shouldn't stay with anyone if your not happy. Everyone gets hpv one point in their life so I'm not sure why you think you can't date people who don't have it. Hpv goes away. Do you have active symptoms? If you don't, and haven't for at least 6 months you shouldn't be worried about giving it to anyone else.
I'm been with my guy for 6 years now and he could care less I had gw before. You don't have put yourself in this box just because you have or had gw, it's so common.

I think no matter how I say this Im going to sound rude so know I dont mean to. Were you all ready with your guy when you found out you had gw? When did you tell him you did? I dont mean to pry but i think its important to know the details because I feel like if I were to find someone and then tell them later on (before we had sex) they wouldnt want me. I still have occassional outbreaks. I think the virus is always in your system. I know the red marine algae & condoms might stop someone from catching it. I just cant believe someone who doesnt have gw all ready would want to be with me...who does have it.

I wasn't with him when i found out i had this, we were off and on. i told him right away before any relations and he didn't care...his response, it's just a harmless wart no big deal.
If you still have outbreaks your body hasn't fought of the virus yet, but it sounds like its getting since you have occasional and it's not all the time. This virus is different from herpes it goes away like a cold goes away just takes awhile.
You have to remember everyone gets this virus at some point...you would have to never have sex ever to not to be exposed to it....of course no one wants it...but it wont harm you and it's not a life sentence. There are people who will not care trust me. even if are in a reltionship with someone who doesn't have GW doesnt mean the will ever get them too...remember that...it just depends on the person. men rarely show symptoms..woman tend to show GW more often....3/5 women, i read that in a pamplet i got from the doctor.

take the time to build your immune syatem and it will go away...can take longer sometimes for people...or for some it's quick....took me freakin 2 years

Hi there. I met my boyfriend after I found out I had hpv and gw. I was soooo nervous to tell him before we got serious, but of course I had to. I did feel gross and disgusting, but after I told him, he was so understanding and still thought I was beautiful and worth it. I was still scared to have sex with him because I couldn't live with myself if I passed it to him. I made sure he understood the risk before we did anything. I still get nervous and hate that I have hpv (both high risk and low risk), but that doesn't define me, and I can still be loved. I still hate saying the word "wart" out loud lol. But a26m, there are good people out there who can love you for who you are, despite having hpv.

Yes, I got GW diagnosed on friday. My current bf has never had symptoms...but we have no clue how I got it. COULD be from him, or previous partners. God...that just sounds awful, but it's true, lol. I agree, don't stay with someone if you aren't happy. There are going to be understanding people out there who love you for who you are, not if you have GW or any other STD! My bf was absolutely AMAZING for understanding, knowing he could (probably will) get it. BUT, we are planning a life together, and he kept saying how lucky HE was to be with me. I am a very lucky woman! :)

you never really know where you get gw from, many never show warts. Most men just carry the virus. You could have got it from him or someone else. But really doesn't matter. People are going to love you for you that's it.

How do you know you gave it to him and not the other way around?
This virus can be in your body for yearssss. And 3/5 women show symptoms. Many men don't and he could had this virus before and for some reason show symptoms now.
My point is don't blame yourself you never know where you get it from.
