Hi all,
This is the first time I've posted in an online group, but my worries about GW are really getting me down.
My experience was a diagnosis about 8 months ago, just one tiny wart on the outside of my vagina.
They froze it off, it came back.
Then two warts - I used Warticon (Podophyll), which got rid of them about three times, but they came back.
Now I am trying Aldara (Immuniqod), but the warts are bigger and there's more of them. I've been using it for one week so far, with no visible impact, but I know this takes time, and I'm hoping that Aldara will be a longer term solution than Warticon.
I'm a healthy 30 year old, doing literally all the right things in terms of sleep, exercise, diet, everything. My immune system should be totally fine.
I've had all the checks for other STDs/cancers and they've come back clear, so I am just flummoxed. I'm terrified that I will never kick this and I don't know if I believe the information that my body will 'clear the virus'. It really doesn't seem to be clearing it at the moment!
If anyone has had similar experiences, I would be so grateful to hear from them.

Sorry to hear about that. It really is sad to hear about other people struggling, even though thats what this website is for. My experience is roughly the same. Caught the disease, had warts on and around my penis, took care of them, been trying to remain clean since.
Basically the best advice Ic an give you as a non medical person is to remain upbeat. Optimism really does help, even if it doesn't always.
I also have them on the front - upper thigh, pubic area.
I haven't done anything to treat the front ones.
I've been loading my immune system up - Vitamin C, Vitamin D (I'm deficient), echinacea, green tea extract, and a multivitamin.
Today I decided to add Red Marine Algae.
I've been severely depressed over my condition, which doesn't help my system.
