Human papillomavirus is a diverse group of DNA-based viruses that infect the skin and mucous membranes of humans. More than 100 different human papillomavirus (HPV) types have been characterized. Some HPV types cause benign skin warts, or papillomas, for which the virus family is named. HPVs associated with the development of such "common warts" are transmitted...
Thank you again!
( http://bit.ly/1ybr3bW ) . I heard a lot of ppl talking about it. It may be a good solution.
So living with these sum bitches for so long, I did so much research and I will share that with you now.
DON'T GET DEPRESSED! HPV is really common, so much so that almost every American will get HPV in their lifetime. Not everyone will develop warts however. 14 million people are infected with hpv each year and 360,000 of those develop warts (39%). (CDC.com) So yes you will have HPV for the rest of your life, but almost everyone will as well. The only thing, most people don't know they have it because they don't have symptoms (warts).
YOU WILL GET RID OF WARTS! The key is to live a better lifestyle. Don't waste money on miracle cures or gimmicks. The best way to get rid of warts is naturally through your immune system. Eat better, exercise and get plenty of sleep. The healthier you are, the better your immune system will be. Plain and simple. I know you wont these gone asap, but give you body time and let it do its thing.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY COME BACK? Chances are they won't. HPV is a virus, so yes you will have HPV forever, but you will not have warts forever. Think of it as a sexually transmitted chicken pox. You get the virus, you have chicken pox and then they go away. You will probably never get chicken pox again but you will always have the virus in your body. The only way you could get warts again will be to
exposed to a different strand of HPV. Even then the chances are slim. Again, the key is to have a healthy immune system.
WHAT ROUTINE SHOULD I GET IN SO THEY DON"T SPREAD? Find what works for you, but I will explain what I did.
-Shaving. I barely shaved. Why would I care if I had a bush? I wasn't having sex anyways. When I did, i used a cheap electric razor. I used it only for the infected area and no where else.
-Loofas/rags etc. I didn't use them on my infected area. This is where I was kinda weird. I would bathe normally with my loofa for everything except my privates. After doing that, I would put the body wash on my hands and wash my privates with my hands. After I was done, I had dial soap in my shower I would use to wash my hands. I would then get out, and dry my privates with papertowels and throw them in a grocery bag. I would then use hand sanitizer. After that, i would dry the rest of my body off with my towel. Did I have to go through all of this? Probably not but it made me feel better.
That's good you told him, it's tough confiding in people. It's always nice to have support. Just keep your head up and if you any questions feel free to ask. The main thing is to know that it's always the darkest before the sun rises. Things will get better. Hope I helped.
I still have moments of shame and frustration. However, I'm starting to get close to acceptance. I mean, really... It's a small bump. What's so terrible about that? ;)
Gentle support while you sort.
