Some HPV types cause benign skin warts, or papillomas, for which the virus family is named. HPVs associated with the development of such "common warts" are transmitted...

Hi guys,
I've posted on here many times in replies to other threads but I have yet to properly share my story with you.
MY STORY
I had genital warts 6-7 years ago for the first time around 2006 when I was 23 I think. At the time I had not long broken up with my girlfriend of two years and I was emotionally drained. I believe that my genital warts could have been in my body for many years but my immune system kept it suppressed for many years.
Outbreaks in the early days were every 3-6 months or so, then it stretched to a year and now I believe I have gone 2 years without a significant outbreak. I used to also smoke socially on nights out and I think this didn't help my immune system at all.
I live in the UK and although treatment for visible signs is good, advice on boosting the immune system and support is really bad. I've spent countless hours researching the virus and understanding how to best boost my immune system so I would consider myself an expert now.
BEST TREATMENTS
. Freezing - this is the quickest and most painless method I think. If I ever get big warts again I would go and get them frozen.
. Aldara - I have heard this works for other people. However it did nothing for me after 16 weeks of application.
. Apple Cider Vinegar - Apple CiderAlso it's more of a natural remedy and can sting but have you tried Apple Cider Vinegar.
. Wartamine - Wartamine seems to work for me, it contains Apple Cider Vinegar as well as some other anti virals like tea trea, zinc, vitamin A and so on.
IMMUNE SYSTEM TIPS
. 7-8 hours sleep
. Good Nutrition - Strong multivitamin, High Vitamin C, Zinc, Vit A, Vit E, B Vits
. Stay stress free - I know it's hard bue try not to panic
. Don't smoke - worse thing!!!
. Avoid Alcohol, Caffeine, Sugar, Processed foods as much as possible
. Drink plenty of water
. keep the area dry after showering - use a hair dryer
HAVING FAITH AND BELIEVING YOU WILL GET BETTER
Now I know these days a lot of people may think it's 'uncool' to believe in something. I am a Christian and I believe in God. Whatever you believe, don't underestimate the power of prayer. In my belief, God created everything, therefore he can uncreate things if we pray to him and ask for help. Believe me, there have been so many hard times in my life and I've always found help through God. I believe that I've been supported through this and you can have the same. Just believe and try praying for the help your body needs to get over this thing. Give it a shot, what have you got to loose.
TELLING SEX PARTNERS
I will admit that I didn't always tell people in the early days that I had GW HPV. I didn't properly understand that it can be passed on even when the warts aren't there and to my knowledge I don't think anyone has had an outbreak and I hope and pray they never do.
I would say to save yourself any guilt or misunderstanding, always try and tell future partners. It's honestly not as bad as you think. All girls I have told really haven't cared and if anything they've respected me and thanked me for telling them. It's very common so just explain to them what HPV is and that they could get it if they haven't got it already from you but the body will usually clear it in 2-5 years. Don't be afraid, fear is useless, be brave and talk about it.

Thanks for your post...Pray indeed. I needed to read that. Just another confirmation that the Lord is with me...with all of us. Peace

With Thanksgiving around the corner, we should all take a step back and really think about those that have it tough. This is something we can overcome.
