Hpv warts timeframe

Hey everyone so I am 32 and was diagnosed with hpv and Genital warts about 3 months ago at first I thought they would stay with me forever but then my doctor said they will go away within 3 years and once they are gone they will not come back then I read online that they reoccur for your entire life then I read elsewhere that the infection will clear in 2 years so I don’t know what to believe can someone please tell me if the warts will ever go away perminantly or if they will come back regularly for the rest of my life?

I can tell you this I had anal warts for one year before getting a GP so they will not go away with out treatment its very rare. I got anal surgery January 31 2013
its been 6 years they have not come back. My advice stay healthy and do get the shots for Gardasil my surgeon said they give that to young teens but he believes that it help its not cheap talk it over with your doctor good luck!

I got diagnosed 2 years ago and went to go get a Pap smear to re-evaluate and my pap came back normal. I haven’t had break outs since.

Genital warts can return after a period of clearance. This can happen for many reasons and can frequently occur after a genital wart removal treatment. From what I've read, the risk factors associated with wart recurrence are high stress, poor diet, lack of sleep, pregnancy, smoking, being overweight or obese, and certain medications such as birth control pills and antibiotics. It's true that HPV can go away on its own in 2-3 years, but this only occurs when your immune system is strong and healthy enough to fight viruses. So I suggest you add vitamins and supplements to help make sure genital warts stay away forever: Vitamin C, Vitamin B-6 and B12, Vitamin A, Folic Acid, Selenium, Vitamin E, Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium.
