HPV Support Group
Human papillomavirus is a diverse group of DNA-based viruses that infect the skin and mucous membranes of humans. More than 100 different human papillomavirus (HPV) types have been characterized. Some HPV types cause benign skin warts, or papillomas, for which the virus family is named. HPVs associated with the development of such "common warts" are transmitted...
Thank you for sharing how you treated your warts with ACV.
I had a prearranged appointment at the std clinic today so I didn't put any on this morning. I haven't told the docs I'm trying this method, they would probably think I'm mad.
I have noticed the warts have got a little redder today and the skin around them. Perhaps as you say leaving a1-2 days between treatment is good!
I will try the qtip method you have mentioned, so far I have been taping the soaked cotton ball to each wart but I haven't had that much stinging. The area does appear to be becoming more sensitive after 3 days of application.
I'm curious you said you used it several times, have yours gone completely or do they still come back? What kind of time period did you need to treat the warts?
Also you mention herbs, what kinds of herbal supplements do you take - I've red about Echinacea and Red Marine Algae, do you mean those kinds of supplements?
As I said, I've been having recurrences for over 5 years, this time I'm willing to be extra vigilant, I want to destroy these suckers for good.
i take my time. I told my urologist I did the ACV treatment and he seemed indifferent to it, he even said what I had wasn't warts but I just don't know if I should trust doctors all the time. I have had very bad experiences with aldera and will never repeat that. be careful with the acv because I left a dish out for too long and it evaporated to about half of what was raising the acid content and without realizing it I burned the crap out of part of my scrotum. These are just my experiences though I cant say this will happen for everyone. I have been taking fish oil, miatake mushroom extract, oil leaf extract, garlic oil, red marine algae and acv pills. I take them pretty religiously multiple times a day but I cant say if they have been really working. I have not have any new warts pop up in about 6 months. I exorcise daily and i have tons of energy and feel great. I just wanna live my life and move past this.
I read that ACV has an alkaline effect on the environment and warts don't like that.
Thank you for sharing what supplements you take, I also heard about l-lyceine doing wonders for people with cold sores and of course garlic is anti bacterial too so I plan on getting some of that.
I also exercise and generally feel great most of the time. My doc said she thinks the actual virus is inactive which is a good sign. I've just got to get rid of the warts that are left there and visible.
I have never taken it too seriously but I know if ever want a lasting relationship it will be easier if their gone for good.
I'm really enjoying the challenge and having more knowledge and at least trying to do something is making me feel 100% better. It's like a battle with these warts and I will make this happen and kill this virus once and for all!
It doesnt seem to be turning black like some people say it does, it's just sort of white/yellow. It's like a bit of a crater now with the skin around being sore. I've been applying nearly everyday, should I allow more days?
Also how long did it take you to fully get rid of your wart(s)?
I'm also going to buy herbs like Miatake mushrooms and red marine algae now.
I've also got an appointment with a doc to see if I can get my immunity levels checked out...
I exercise, dont smoke, take supplements and my immune system is still unable to kill the virus.
I'm keep praying that this works and I can rid myself of this once and for all, I'll let you know of progress.
I've done a lot more research. I think the ACV is enough to irritate the wart and the skin and your immune system should go to the area. As wartman says it's important to leave 1-2 days in between for the norm skin to heal. I also think that this rest period leaves time for the immune system to attack the wart without being interfered by the ACV.
I made a mistake of not leaving enough time for healing and burned my skin. The ACV is poweful stuff, so I think it's best to use a q-tip and hold the ACV on the wart. I tried the cotton ball method overnight and this didnt help either, lol.
I also used a combo of Aldara while I was healing and I think this has helped. Now my skin has cleared up, I think the warts have gone. So far I've only noticed 1 new one which is tiny (I had to get my magnifying glass out). I plan on treating this with just Aldara initially.
I think my immune tcells are still around the area because the skin is still healing. I have found the Aldara to be a lot milder in my experience
Everyones experience is different though.
Also juat to let you know guys, I'm going to see a proper dermatologist who specialises in male genital skin disorders to ask him lots of questions and see if there are any other treatments he thinks are better.
I also plan to ask him about tagamet/renitadine. I've heard lots of people talking about tagamet/renitadine on forums. These are stomach drugs that supress stomach acid but as a by product stop immunr suppressor cells. As a result these are meant to 'unleash' the immune sustem so it hopefully attacks even 'little' viruses like HPV.
Wartman has more experience in ACV than me and it sounds like he's having good success so also ask him.
I really believe we can beat this thing man, dont loose faith or get frustrated. Warts are stubborn things. We have to be meticulous and stubborn in treating them and doing all the right things. I honestly believe we can defeat this and make them go away for good.
I've also read that doctor Ian Fraser is doing research to use a modified form of the Gardasil vaccine to treat existing HPV so within a few more years there could be therapeutic vaccine for people like us. However I intend to defeat this thing asap, it's gonna happen! For Sparta!! hahaha!
Belief, willpower and Patience will beat this thing.
Let us know how you get on with your treatment, you're not alone man, stay in touch.
the avc method and was wondering if it matters what kind of apple cider vinegar u use ?
