Don't know what to do...

I just found out I have HPV... I have had unprotected sex with multiple partners in the past year and since my last check so it could of been at least five diffrent guys. Do I message them and tell them and risk people who its non of their business finding out about it? Some of the guys I slept with are all in the same frat that I hang out with all the time..and people talk..I don't know if I should risk my whole reputation as we are a very small community and everyone knows each other or keep it to myself and if they have it and pass it on its their problem for not using protection just like I can't blame anyone but myself for letting these guys not use protection.. UGH.

Even with a condom you can get Hpv. Its because a condom doesnt cover everything and any skin contact can spread it. Only my advice but treat yourself throughly using vinegar cure and after that if they return treat again immediately.

I would ask my doctor because you aren't sure which guy gave you the high-risk hpv.

First things first! Over 50% of the population has HPV. So you’re in the majority, welcome to the club :). Many others have it but their immune system is just suppressing it and it doesn’t show up on a test. Also, men can’t find out through a simple std blood test (which the majority of them do) - they need to do a penal swab so needless to say, many have not been tested for it. When it comes to letting people know, this is a personal choice. The problem with narrowing it down is unless your sexual activity didn’t start until this past year, you could have gotten it from a previous person and your body could have been suppressing it until now. For me, my boyfriend and I are focusing on us right now, although I may contact old partners, I haven’t decided that for myself yet.
Please stop blaming yourself. Shit happens, we learn from it. Science is catching up with this virus that has been around for generations, so now we can test and find out if we have it which is great because that will dramatically decrease negative outcomes of cervical cancer. You’ve been diagnosed, next step is to confirm if you have abnormal cells or not, and go from there. Best of luck to you, and don’t stress too much about your decision to disclose

I myself haven't spoken to previous relationships for years, but if I saw any as friends again on a regular basis I might say something. That way they can decide if they want to watch for cancer (because I have high-risk hpv). I would ask they they keep it quiet about my diagnosis though. I am just talking about what I might do, but I agree that you shouldn't stress about disclosing. They aren't even sure if it is spread with that first french kiss. For me that was when I was about 20 years old and I am newly diagnosed at 47. Someone said in another post that they are doing research to test the antibodies for hpv in men to see if they have it. I hope in my lifetime I will see success in this area.
