Yes. Last Tuesday night, we spent a little time together. We hadn't had time together in 3 or 4 weeks, that wasn't rushed. We ate dinner and were sitting and talking. He stood up and sai "there is never a perfect time or place. I wanted a perfect time and a perfect place". He got on one knee and pulled a ring out of his pocket. "I want you to be my wife." My heart melted and all I could say was "I want to be your wife." So far, people are very happy for us. Ironically, 2 nights later, I posted a picture of us on FB, without any mention of engagement and we got over 100 likes and over 20 comments of how happy people were for us/ congratulations. This baffled me so began to ask people why they had posted the comments and they said because we look so happy together. We are!
Has it been long enough? I've been a widow a little over 2 years. He's been divorced about 6 months. Time doesn't matter when you are in love. I have found a man who I want in my life, everyday! I am so happy. We are so excited!
