Last week, I was feeling a little lonely. Had dinner with someone I met on OKCupid, (honestly just friends). He was telling me, that he thought he would have to help me find someone with money. That's not what I'm looking for, I'm looking to be in love. Well, don't know if it was the conversation, or just fate, but I had a coffee date with a man that's been divorced for 12 yrs, and just moved here a year ago. He was a lawyer, burned out, and now is in sales. We had a 2 hr talk over coffee. We texted each other this afternoon, and he said he was having vivid ideas about us, and I told him, I want to move slow. I want to get to know anyone, before I get serious with them. While I was watching the Saints, I got a email from a man an hour away, that's a widower. He doesn't like to email or chat, and wanted to talk on the phone, so I talked to him about an hour. His wife died about 8 yrs ago. He is a well known artist and scupltor, I checked out his website. He told me about a few women he talked to, that were planning their life together, just over the phone. He is very new to this dating site thing, and doesn't type very well. It's been fustrating to him, when women want to chat online. Both of these men have just ended relationships 2 weeks ago. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I don't want to be a rebound, whatever that means. I'm not used to dating much, but it seems men are so much more ready to move on, than a woman is.

I also have another man, that I have been talking to for over a month and we haven't met. He's about an hour away. He wanted me to drive to his house for the game, but I said no thanks. I only meet people, in the daytime, for the first time. My "friend" was teasing, that I would wind up in his freezer. I do think I know him well, from talking so much, but no, I won't be going out to his house anytime soon.

Well, I did want to find someone, but don't want to have too many interested at once, either. As they said in New Orleans. C'est la vie!
